Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! It is going to be another great year at Cumberland. My name is Karina Delgado and I teach Geometry. This will be my third year at Cumberland, and my tenth year of teaching. I have a Bachelor's in Science in Electric Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Nuevo Laredo, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on STEM from the University of Texas at Tyler. I have worked in the manufacturing industry, with non-profit organizations, and in the school setting. I love to do hands on projects and find real applications. My husband, Cesar, and I are from Nuevo Laredo and moved our family to Tyler 12 years ago. We have two children, Monse and Daniel. I look forward to this school year at Cumberland.
