It is an honor and blessing to be a part of the Cumberland Academy family, and I'm so glad to have you a part of us here at Cumberland Academy High School.

The 2017-2018 academic year will be my sixth year teaching overall, second at Cumberland Academy High School. I've taught all four high school levels of English Language Arts. This upcoming year I'll be teaching ESL, English II, English III, and English III AP (schedule is subject to change).

I am the Cumberland Academy High School lacrosse faculty sponsor as well.  I'm thoroughly involved with the players, coaches, and parents.  This team and program is one of my favorite things about being a part of Cumberland.  During the season I'm super busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. GO KNIGHTS!!

I graduated from Brownsboro High School in 2007 and went on to college. I attended UT Tyler and graduated in 2011 with my degree. I have worked at several schools before finding my home here at Cumberland. I try to keep my classroom lively and a fun learning environment, and look forward to teaching a new group of students every year.

I am committed to help, nurture, and teach each student to become a lifetime learner. Guiding student through the learning process is the greatest reward that I can give. I have the highest expectation for each and every student in class to reach the highest potential that each possesses. In addition, I have high expectations for appropriate behavior in and outside the classroom. A positive environment will facilitate high standards for teaching and learning.
