Please call the front office in advance to set up a conference if possible.  I would like to be as prepared as possible to talk with you about your child's progress.
About me:
This is my first year here at Cumberland Academy High School and I am very excited to have the opportunity to impact your child's life!  I strongly believe in educating the "whole child", not just academics.  Although high academic standards are vital to every child's success, my classes will also infuse character development, good citizenship and the development of high personal moral standards into their everyday student life.
I have been blissfully married to my husband of 15 years, Clay.  He is my "knight"!  We have four children.  My oldest daughter, Morgan is 24 and married to an active duty Airman and they are stationed in southern Georgia.  My son-in-law is set to deploy to Syria in early January right after their second child is born around Christmas.  I would really appreciate any prayers you could spare for her family. My daughter, Landry is 17 and just graduated from high school ~ a year early!  She will attend TJC for one year then transfer to a university (still to be determined) to study Architectural Engineering.  She is a lover of music and even taught herself to play the piano. My only son, Finley Andrew would be turning 11 this year, but was called to Heaven just after he was born.  We miss him every single day and know he is dancing with angels and telling our Lord funny jokes all day long.  Our youngest is our daughter, Kennedy Grace who is a 4th grader at CA Elementary School.  She is an avid sports kid who plays soccer, basketball, and golf.  Kennedy should be a comedian as she keeps our family rolling with the funny things she says and does.
I am also a "Grammy" to my grandson, Aiden who is almost 18 months old.  He is the happiest child I have ever witnessed.  He is constantly smiling and laughing - proudly showing off his big dimples.  I also have a granddaughter on the way who is scheduled to touch our world very near Christmas.  Her name will be Elizabeth Claire... a.k.a. "Ellie"!  Eeekkk.... I am so excited for her arrival!
Aside from being a wife, mom, and grammy I love to cook, read and troll on Pinterest.  My greatest hobby is to redo, repurpose and revamp anything that is cool and unique!  I have a great imagination and love to be creative!
