Biography

Nathan Brazell is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Principal at Cumberland Academy High School. His career spans over a decade, beginning as a band director and transitioning into campus administration.

• Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Stephen F. Austin State University (2011)
• Master of Education in Educational Administration, University of North Texas (2015)
• Juris Doctor Candidate at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, with a focus on Education Law (2025)

Nathan's professional journey is marked by his commitment to student success and building strong community relationships. His roles have included Campus Dean of Students, Head Band Director, and Assistant Band Director, where he achieved notable successes in student participation and program development.

In addition to his work in education, Nathan is dedicated to community service, including roles as a legal advocate and a volunteer with various organizations. He holds several professional affiliations in both education and law.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, playing soccer and disc golf, watching movies, and the occasional XBox video game.
