Attention Juniors & Seniors:

What is needed for dual credit registration?

All students will need:
-Registration form
-Student-parent consent form
**they will only need to fill this out once and it is good for the duration they are a dual credit student
-High School transcript showing what they have completed thus far

Students new to dual credit will also need:

Complete the TJC admissions application
(if they haven’t already done so); this step is very important as it allows admissions to create their TJC record
Test scores that allow them to enroll for dual credit – ACT/SAT/PSAT/E2 STAAR/A1 STAAR or they need to have taken the TSI placement test.
A few returning students may need test scores if they are taking a class different from the ones they took the previous year. For example, a student that plans to take MATH this year but only has reading/writing on file because they didn’t take a math the previous year.
