Colleges will invite prospective students to visit their campus for special days through out the fall and spring semesters. During these events, you'll feel the spirit and excitement that permeates the campus. Learn about the academic programs that can prepare you for nearly any career. Most importantly, make new friends and have your questions answered. Some preview days may require over night stays. 
You must register for these events.

*November 12, 2018-- Smith County College Fair at Tyler Rose Garden 1:00-3:00 PM - Register with Mrs. Edwards in U214

*April 17, 2019-- Spring College Fair at UT-Tyler Ornelas Activity Center 6:00-8:00 PM

These examinations are administered during high school to demonstrate college-readiness and level of preparation for entrance into college.
 
 
Appy Texas opens July 1, 2018
        This is one application that can be sent to most any Texas college or university.
         You do have to pay for each application fee.   Go to www.applytexas.org. 
 
 Common Application
        This is one application that can be sent to many colleges and universities
         both in and outside of Texas.
       You do have to pay for each application fee.    Go to www.commonapp.org.
     
  You will need to request an official transcript from the counselor to be sent to each prospective college/university once you have applied. 
 
Most College deadlines to apply are from November 1, 2018 to February 1, 2019. (Also depends on your major)  Please check your college and major of choice for their deadlines!!
