Medication Pick Up Information

Good afternoon Cumberland families,

With the announcement from the governor that school will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic school year, I will be available on April 30, May 4th and May 5th from 12 :00 PM until 2:00 PM for you to come by and pick up all medications (both over the counter and prescription including epipens and inhalers) and all medical equipment in my office including diabetic glucometers, nebulizers and solution. All medications must be picked up or they will be disposed of. No medication or equipment can be kept in my office over the summer for safety reasons.

If you email me the evening before or on the day you plan to come, I will prepare your student's medications prior to arrival. Please give me as much time as you can in case I am with other parents at the time you are able to come. When you arrive on campus, please park in the front of the flag poles, stay in your vehicle and call the front office. No one will be allowed to walk into the office to pick up anything you have there for the students, I will walk it out to you. If what you are picking up is a controlled medication, it requires a signature on a form I keep in the student's file. An adult must pick up all controlled medications. If you are sending someone in your place to pick up the medications, I need to know who they are please.

At this time, I am only planning to be on campus for these 3 days only for medication pick up as I have 2 elementary age children that I must be home with. Please make arrangements to come during one of these days. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me.

I miss all the students and hope that all of you are staying well!

Thank you for all you do!
