Monday, May 14 is the last day to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are available for purchase in the high school front offices for $15 each or 2 for $25. Tickets will be $20 at the door on Friday. The banquet will take place in the CAH gym at 6:30 p.m. and includes a catered dinner. Student-athletes do not need to purchase a ticket.

The deadline to enroll in the 2019 CAH spring break trip to Washington D.C. and New York City is now Friday, May 18. A $95 deposit is required to secure your spot. Students will have the opportunity to do fundraisers, and the trip fee is due in installments. Click this post for the link to enroll!

The CAH Spanish Club will be hosting the first Cinco de Mayo program at Cumberland Academy High on Friday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration in the new gym!

Congratulations to the following baseball players on receiving all-district honors this season: Jackson Gullatt (2nd team), William Blalack (2nd team), Aaron Mills (2nd team), Cole Osmer (honorable mention), Victor Reyes (honorable mention), and Sam Wheeler (honorable mention). Way to go, Knights!

Cumberland Academy athletic director and head lacrosse coach Risto Worthington was voted Coach of the Year by the coaches of the Texas High School Lacrosse League. Coach Worthington has dedicated countless hours to give students of all ages the opportunity to learn and improve upon the game of lacrosse. We are grateful for his commitment to our lacrosse program and proud of this incredible accomplishment in Cumberland Academy's first year as part of the North region of the Texas High School Lacrosse League!

Congratulations to Elijah Allen and Breznee Middlebrook on placing at the regional track meet this past weekend! Elijah earned 5th place in the 200M, and Breznee took 4th in the 400M.

The sophomore class is celebrating the end of the school year on Friday, May 25. They will be going to Times Square Cinema for the opening day of Solo: A Star Wars Story and then to Rose Rudman Park to enjoy a picnic! The cost is $25 and includes transportation, movie ticket, movie snack (small popcorn, drink, and airhead), and lunch. The freshman class will be going to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens on Thursday, May 10.
Cost: $25 due with permission slip on May 4
Transportation will be provided. Vans will leave promptly at 7:45 a.m. and return at 4:45 p.m.
Activities, poles and bait, and a cookout lunch will be provided.

CAH visual art students were given 10 days to create a sculpture using items that would normally be thrown away. They presented their completed projects at the Earth Day Art Show at the Caldwell Zoo to inspire others to recycle and consume less single-use plastics!

Our dance team received Platinum 2nd place this weekend at their competition in Austin. Their scores were above 95 from each of the three judges! Way to go, ladies!

CAH will be hosting a Preview Night for incoming freshmen, new, and prospective students (grades 9-11) and an Open House for current CAH families on Thursday, April 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. Future CAH Lady Knights and Knights and their families will hear from our principals, tour the campus and meet the teachers, and visit an activity fair to learn about extra-curriculars and student organizations. New families will start in the new gym; current families are welcome to browse the activity fair and visit with their child's teachers.
