Letter from Mr. Lind Regarding Student Drop-off/Pick-up

Parents,
We have received a letter from the city engineer regarding students being picked up after school in areas outside of the CAH school grounds. This practice of walking across Paluxy, Jeff Davis, and Roy has created a very dangerous situation. In addition, students are being picked up in unimproved shoulders, private parking lots, driveways, and front yards. The city requests that parents cease this practice immediately and requires all students to be dropped off and picked up inside the campus.

CAE has been in contact with two charter schools in the Houston-area which sustained damage from Hurricane Harvey. We are collecting children's clothing, gift cards, and cash donations to send to help the families of these schools. Thank you for supporting our fellow Texans!

Meet the Teachers! Thursday, August 31 from 4 - 5:45 p.m.

As you pick up your child, come inside to meet the teachers! Upon your arrival, you will be given a campus map and a copy of your child's schedule. Teachers will be in their classrooms to greet you. This is not a parent-teacher conference but a "meet and greet" for you to get to know your student's teachers.

Thursday Night in the Classroom / No After-school Program

CAH will be offering "Thursday Night in the Classroom" every Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. for make-up work, tutorials, attendance recovery, and homework. Teachers will be present to give students extra help! We will no longer offer Saturday School or EDP. On all other school days, students need to be picked up by 5 p.m. Thank you!
