CAHS Student Council is hosting a Canned Food & Hygiene Essentials Drive to support families in our community. We invite students, families, and staff to donate items that will help meet basic needs in our community. All proceeds will be donated to local Food Banks and Shelters across East Texas.
Donation Dates: 📅 February 2-20
Drop-Off Location:📍 CAHS Front Office
Requested Canned Food Items:
Non-perishable, unopened items such as:
Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, peas)
Canned fruit
Canned soup or chili
Canned meat (tuna, chicken, Spam)
Peanut butter
Pasta and rice
Boxed meals (mac & cheese, rice sides)
Hygiene Essentials Needed:
New, unopened items such as:
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Deodorant
Shampoo and conditioner
Body wash or soap
Feminine hygiene products
Disposable razors
Lotion
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Student Incentive:
For every 4 items a student brings, they will earn 1 hour of attendance credit.
The maximum number of attendance credit hours a student will be able to receive is 16.
